Getting to Coll

The mainland point of departure for the Isle of Coll is Oban, which can be reached by road and rail.

In summer the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry sails once every day
In winter, sailings are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only.
These modern roll-on-roll-off car and passenger ferries have self-service restaurants and licensed bars.

The journey time is about three hours and makes a fine start to your island holiday, as all your mainland worries seem to slip into the Sound of Mull.

There is also a small airport on the neighbouring island of Tiree, and regular flights from Glasgow fly there. Taxis and boats from Tiree airport to Coll can be arranged through the hotel.
If you fly, you can use Airmiles - it is 700 for a London-Glasgow return trip and 1150 for a London-Tiree return flight.

There are also regular train and bus services from Glasgow to Oban.
Feel free to call us for more details.

All guests are collected from the pier on arrival, if requested, and transport around the island can also be arranged.
