Picture that turquoise and deep blue sea, lapping white sandy beaches that you associate with the Caribbean. Remove the people and the palm trees.... This is Coll....

Coll Hotel sits in its own grounds, with a beautiful garden overlooking a row of white-washed cottages at the harbour side. There is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and the hotel is appointed to a high standard, with six en-suite rooms, four of which look down the bay to the Treshnish Isles, Staffa, Iona and Jura. We have an excellent reputation for fine lunches and dinners, whether in the Restaurant or Bar and our recent awards are featured on the left.

Coll has been designated as Scotland's first 'Dark Sky Island'. Please come and enjoy it!

For those interested, there is a wealth of information about Coll at www.visitcoll.co.uk

Recently we were told that we’ve again been given this prestigious award which recognises businesses that consistently earn top ratings from TripAdvisor travellers. We are thrilled by this announcement and would like to take the opportunity to thank our great team of staff. We could not have done this without each and every one of them.   Kevin & Julie Oliphant

There are wild flowers everywhere and many lambs fattening in the fields - and occasionally inspecting the roads!  Yachts are in the bay and, as ever, it’s not too difficult to get a beach all to yourself.   Coll Hotel is in full swing - new menus & glorious seafood in abundance - and our garden is blooming beautifully!   Advance bookings mean that available accommodation is limited, so call us now on 01879 230334 to book.  We’d love to hear from you.

COLL OF THE SHARKS FESTIVAL (20th - 26th August 2014)   As the waters around Coll are the main Scottish (possibly worldwide) hotspot for basking sharks, where better to have a shark festival!
